The SEOquick team conducted a study on the impact of rich snippets on SEO results and click-through rates in search.

The following conclusions were made:

The presence of any extended snippets negatively affects clickability and CTR . Without extended snippets, the average CTR for the site under study was 14.6%. At the same time, in the search results where extended snippets appeared, the CTR was only 0.46%. For other extended elements of the search results, the CTR was 0.69%, which is almost 22 times lower than without them.
The presence of extended snippets even for the TOP of the search results has a negative impact on CTR. If your site occupies the TOP position, your CTR decreases from 30% to 19.6%. And the presence of your site in an extended snippet implies a CTR of only 8.6%.
The decline in organic traffic while maintaining the same number of requests is 2.5% per year, and traffic has been falling annually for three years now.
The decrease in CTR in search results is not directly related to the influence of contextual search results; more precisely, the influence of context on organic erosion is insignificant.
More than half of search queries (49%) currently do not generate any clicks.
Rich snippets were displayed almost three times less frequently a year ago, in particular, video and image snippets.
The website promotion strategy should be based on searching for queries without extended snippets with low competition and high traffic, which is becoming increasingly difficult to implement every year.
