No, this article is not a disguised way of announcing that I new zealand whatsapp am retraining as a dwarf goat breeder to make wool sweaters because it is no longer worth doing SEO

Every four mornings you must hear things like:

The blog is dead
The newsletter is has been
This is the end of Instagram
SEO is useless anymore
We almost get used to these refrains in the end!

So, no.

None of this is dead and buried.

Obviously, in 2025, it will still be worth doing SEO (and I'm not saying that because it's my core business!)

So if this is your 2025 project , you are right to be interested in it.

(Personally, I'm going to stop being a shoemaker with bad shoes and I'm going to take control of my blog again)

As with all communication and sales channels, the key is to adapt to changes .

Don't stop everything overnight (don't do like me 😅)!

In 2025, the basic rules of natural referencing do not change.

Doing SEO in 2025: a well-optimized site!
We take care to:

have a technically well-optimized site ,
mobile-friendly (although, nowadays, it's almost has-been to say that)
but above all fast !
Take the quiz to find out if your site is well optimized for SEO!
Pages and articles for your target!
Above all, we write with our target in mind and we don't write just to "do SEO" because that clearly won't work anymore!

More than ever, strategic thinking will be required to offer content that interests your target and is different from your competitors.

Can I help you with the strategy?
Competition, still important for SEO in 2025?
We always look at what our competitors are doing , not to do the same thing but rather to do the complete opposite (or almost).

We bring a different angle, our own point of view, we do a case study, we add a video or a podcast episode… (and ChatGPT won't do that, just saying).

Optimizing your content
We look at the content that works and update it so that it brings us even more traffic (well yes, because SEO lasts longer than a post published on social networks) .

You can rely on articles written 2, 3, 5 or 10 years ago, provided you take a look at them from time to time!

More than ever: the EEAT
Take care of:

Content Author Experience
Expertise, always from the author of the content
Authority (long live backlinks , no offense to some)
Trust: Think about reviews

I recommend that you provide a box at the bottom of the articles written to give a short biography of the author.

If there are several of you writing, each author should have a page with detailed information about their experience and expertise on the topic being discussed.

Doing SEO in 2025: a black mark on the board
The only slightly “black” point on the picture: the potential changes that 2025 will bring in terms of display in search results .

Let me explain: in the United States, Google is deploying SGE for Search Generative Experience.

What is this thing again?

This is a banner that will appear above current search results and generate a quick answer for users based on AI (if you want to see what it looks like, go here ).

For the moment, it is difficult to know the real impact that this new development will have, but several scenarios have been drawn up, as always from the most optimistic "it won't change anything" to the most pessimistic "we're in deep shit" .

As is often the case, we will probably be somewhere in between, but as we are not sure of anything at the moment, we are not going to make any big plans!

As always, my motto is “no need to panic at this point, just stay aware of this change and monitor” .
