Abstract . The publication is devoted to the generalization of the views of various specialists on the patterns that underlie changes in the purchasing behavior of Russians during periods of economic crises. The basis of the presented are the materials of the presentations of the members of the Guild of Marketers, which they presented in different years at meetings of the Guild's discussion club. The presentation is structured in such a way that the main attention is focused on those changes in the purchasing behavior of Russians that allow us to predict the development of the crisis. There are many economic publications describing changes in people's behavior during a crisis. This publication examines the issues that the crisis poses to domestic marketers.
Key words: analysis of changes observed in Russian markets during argentina phone number data crises, forecasting, adaptation of marketing tools and technologies to changes in macroeconomics, branding, marketing of innovations.
The Marketers Guild Discussion Club has come of age this year. It's time to sum things up, to tell our colleagues honestly whether all these discussions were worthwhile. And to tell them: " What topic was the most frequent subject of our heated debates?"
For over 30 years I have been trying to keep track of everything that is related to marketing in one way or another. In 2004, when our Discussion Club began its meetings and discussions, we had no one to look up to. The main goal of the first meetings and discussions was the participants’ desire to rid our marketing of the fictions that abounded in the so-called “ marketing literature” of that time. Today, our discussion club is one of…
In recent years, academic discussion clubs of related fields have been created and are actively operating: psychologists, economists, sociologists. For the self-development of a marketer, it has become extremely useful to watch their meetings on YouTube . In discussions, Russian humanities scholars strive to find approaches to solving “Russian unsolvable problems” with joint efforts. They, like us back in 2004, tacitly acknowledged that socio-economic reality can only be understood together. It is clear that they, like us, are driven by the slogan: “Together we can do more!”
Now let's return to the most discussed topic at our discussion meetings. It so happened that in the early 2000s, the topic of economic crises was the most fashionable. Two-thirds of the post-Soviet period in Russia is " time in anticipation of a crisis." Taking this into account, the Guild began to hold discussions from time to time, united by the topic: "A year before the crisis." In the polemics on this topic, many ideas and views were expressed that have not yet made it into either economics or marketing textbooks. And yet, today, when the Russian economy has entered a period of severe long-term trials, it is worth dwelling on at least those of them that allow us to predict the near future. Other aspects of the incomprehensible Russian strategic marketing should be discussed again this year. Many new members have joined the Guild, and the situation is more complicated now.
